Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture invites applications for:
TENURE TRACK OR TENURED POSITION IN Landscape Architecture
The focus of the new professorship is on creating new knowledge and on developing expertise in emerging fields of landscape architecture. The professor may be specialized in EITHER landscape construction technologies and management OR the history and
theory of landscape architecture OR landscape urbanism.
The Department of Architecture offers high-level studies in Architecture and Landscape Architecture advancing artistic development work within these fields as well as artistic and scientific research. The Landscape Architecture degree programme at Aalto University
is Finland’s only academic institute in the field of landscape architecture. The degree programme is currently divided into three study areas: 1) landscape design and construction, 2) landscape planning and ecology, 3) urban design and planning (shared with the Degree Programme of Architecture).
